Rebekah Goode is a high school creative writing and journalism adviser and nighttime writer. Her students have produced a 500+ page yearbook, a quarterly newsmagazine, a weekly MailChimp newsletter, and a literary arts magazine, all which have earned the top national scholastic journalism awards.

 

Designated a Rising Star by the Journalism Education Association in 2016, Goode believes actively writing and editing helps her better reach her students. She previously published arts & culture writing and poetry in Creative Loafing Atlanta, Creative Thresholds, Literary Mama, The Porch Press, Dial magazine, and a bunch of music blogs which don't exist anymore. She lives in a small house in East Atlanta with a dog, two cats, a kid, and lots of books.
